A highlighted cell wins its row on the rule named above the table: more power, lift, capacity or flow, or a lower price. A lift row is left unwon whenever the two makers measured in different places, or where either of them did not say — a figure quoted at the pivot pin and one quoted 500 mm ahead of it describe the same loader and differ by roughly a third, so ranking them against each other would invent a result. Prices are typical list and move with dealer packages.

From owner discussion and long-term write-ups

What owners of each one say

Kioti HX9010

What they like

  • 8,002 lb at the 3-point is more than twice the RX6620's rating and puts it in the class of implements that need a genuine utility tractor
  • The KL1155 loader lifts 4,216 lb at the pivot pin to 150.6 in, which reaches over the side of a grain trailer
  • 32 gpm of pump flow is nearly double the RX line's, so a loader and a rear hydraulic implement can both work without starving
  • 47.6 gal of fuel supports a full working day with a loader and no refuelling stop
  • 3,833 cc across four cylinders rather than a stretched small block, with a turbo and an intercooler
  • The cab is standard equipment, not a $8,000-plus option as it is on the NX and NS models
  • 10,230 lb of weight is the traction that 70 PTO hp actually needs to pull tillage

What they complain about

  • 70 PTO hp from 90 gross is a 22 percent loss, weak for this class - the 73 hp RX7320 delivers 63 at the PTO for less than half the price
  • 48-month powertrain coverage rather than Kioti's 72-month term, on its most expensive tractor
  • $77,728 is a different market from the rest of the Kioti lineup and competes with established cab tractors where dealer support carries more weight
  • 10,230 lb rules out lawn, orchard and soft-ground work entirely
  • The 8,002 lb hitch figure comes with no measuring point, which matters more at this capacity than anywhere else in the range

LS MT774CPS

What they like

  • 5,139 lb at the loader and 7,275 lb at the hitch are both figures from the 100 hp MT7101, because it is the same frame and the same LL8100 - the cheapest route to that capacity LS sells
  • 65.6 hp at the PTO from 73.7 gross is a 11 percent driveline loss, unusually low for a power shuttle this size
  • 30.4 gal of fuel and 22.2 GPM of flow make it a genuine all-day machine rather than a compact stretched upward
  • 24 forward and 24 reverse speeds with a clutchless shuttle, which is proper utility-tractor specification
  • 7,827 lb of weight is real traction, so the loader capacity is usable rather than theoretical

What they complain about

  • 73.7 hp in a 7,827 lb tractor is a poor power-to-weight ratio - it will move heavy things slowly, and a lighter 73 hp machine will out-work it in the field
  • Cab only, with no open-station build at all in the MT7 range
  • LS names the engine only as the 'F34' and does not say who builds it, which is a gap on a machine at this price
  • The two dealer figures found are a model year apart, and LS publishes nothing to check them against
  • No measuring point is published for the 5,139 lb loader rating
  • Dealer coverage for a tractor this size is thin outside the Southeast, and parts availability on the MT7 frame is the least proven in the range
