Massey Ferguson fields 19 tractors on this list, smallest first. The one that buys the most PTO horsepower per dollar is the Massey Ferguson 2607H at 1.75 PTO hp per $1,000 — counting the 15 of 16 whose prices are for a comparable build. The biggest loader figure is 3,420 lbs, on the Massey Ferguson 4707, the Massey Ferguson 4709 and the Massey Ferguson 4710 — they share a loader, measured at the pivot pin, which is the convention 7 of the 19 loader-equipped models here publish.
Massey Ferguson's small tractors were renamed in one go. At the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville in February 2025, AGCO regrouped its compact range into three series: a Sub-Compact Series, an Economy Series and a Premium Series led by the 25 hp MF 1M.25, with hydrostatic or shuttle transmissions and cab options in the larger models. On this page the 1GC.23 and 1GC.25 (and their B backhoe versions) are the sub-compacts, the 1M.25 through 1M.40 and the 2M.50, 2M.60 and 2M.65 are the premium compacts, and the older GC1725M is kept for reference with a pointer to the 1GC.25 that replaced it.
The compacts run Japanese Iseki diesels: the GC1700 sub-compacts used Iseki's 1.1-litre three-cylinder, and a 2025 1M.35 lists a 1.83-litre Iseki three-cylinder with a 12x12 power shuttle. Above them sit two utility families with different engines: the gear and shuttle 2604H to 2607H with Simpson engines, and the power-shuttle 4707, 4709 and 4710 with AGCO Power engines. More change is coming from the supply side. In February 2025 AGCO signed SDF, the Italian maker, to build low to mid horsepower tractors up to 85 hp for Massey Ferguson, with the North American rollout set for 2026, and in July 2025 AGCO ended all of its commercial agreements with India's TAFE under a legal settlement that gave TAFE the Massey Ferguson name in India, Nepal and Bhutan.
Dealer listings for 2025 compact models such as the 1M.35 quote a 5-year powertrain warranty, which matches the terms shown on the 1GC, 1M and 2M model pages; the utility tractors carry different terms, listed on each model page.
Owners tend to land on a Massey through the dealer rather than the badge, sometimes after being ignored at a Kubota or Deere store. The praise across models is for lift: utility owners handle one-ton pallets and buy the 2600H line as a cheap alternative to a skid steer, and a 4707 buyer who priced eight brands at 70 to 75 hp rated it the most tractor per dollar. The sub-compacts run out of weight before power and want their undersides shielded, factory parts are priced above economy-tractor expectations, and manuals say little about setup.

Iseki-built and noticeably more finished than most sub-compacts, with a drive-over deck and the tightest turning circle in the GC range. Massey has moved the badge to the 1GC line for 2026, so this one now survives only on the sub-compact comparison table.

Massey's 2025 renumbering retired the GC1700 line, and this is what took the GC1725M's place: the same 24.5 hp Iseki three-cylinder and two-range hydrostatic, now with push-button cruise control and a redesigned seat. The 1GC.25B adds a folding ROPS and a factory backhoe on the same frame.

The odd one out in the 2600 H range: Massey lists it as two-wheel drive only, where every other model in the series offers 4WD. In exchange it turbocharges the 2.6-litre Simpson to 55 hp and lifts 2,755 lb, the same as the 65 hp model above it, at the lightest weight in the range.

Only M Series model Massey lists with cab figures alone - 65.7 hp, 50.0 PTO hp and 4,608 lb, all quoted for the cab build with no ROPS column beside them. It tops the compact range with the strongest hitch in it at 3,483 lb, and is the one M that cannot be bought open-station.
