A highlighted cell wins its row on the rule named above the table: more power, lift, capacity or flow, or a lower price. A lift row is left unwon whenever the two makers measured in different places, or where either of them did not say — a figure quoted at the pivot pin and one quoted 500 mm ahead of it describe the same loader and differ by roughly a third, so ranking them against each other would invent a result. Prices are typical list and move with dealer packages.
From owner discussion and long-term write-ups
What owners of each one say
TYM T25
What they like
- 1,230 lb of lift measured 24 in. behind the link ends, more than double the T2025P's 560 lb from the same 24.7 hp engine
- One remote valve is standard rather than optional
- Infinite 2-range hydrostat reaching 13.7 mph
- 2,046 lb on a 61 in. wheelbase, heavy enough to hold a full bucket without a ballast box
- Yanmar 3TNV80F, a widely serviced industrial three
- 72-month, 3,000-hour powertrain cover for non-commercial use
What they complain about
- TYM publishes no price - every model page ends at Request a Quote, and no two independent dealers quote a bare tractor, so the figure here would have to be invented
- 4.2 gpm of implement flow from a single gear pump, so the loader and the steering draw on one supply
- 6.6 gal of fuel where the newer T2025P carries 8.4
- 18.3 PTO hp from 24.7 gross, the same 74 percent driveline figure as its stablemate
- The TL25 loader lifts 1,380 lb at the pivot point, unremarkable for a 2,046 lb tractor
- Hydrostatic only - there is no geared T25
TYM 3015
What they like
- 3,306 lb of hitch lift at the link ends at 30 hp, which is more than most 50 hp compacts publish
- 25 PTO hp from 30 gross, an 83 percent driveline figure on the synchromesh build
- 12 x 12 synchromesh shuttle standard, with a 3-range hydrostat offered at the same trim
- Dual gear pump splitting 7.7 gpm to the implement circuit and 4.2 gpm to steering
- Two loader valves are standard equipment rather than an option
- 72-month, 3,000-hour powertrain cover for non-commercial use
What they complain about
- TYM publishes no price - every model page ends at Request a Quote, and no two independent dealers quote a bare tractor, so the figure here would have to be invented
- Zero rear remote valves in the base build - the two standard valves are for the loader, and rear circuits are extra
- 7.1 gal of fuel on a 3,183 lb tractor is a short working day
- Hitch lift falls from 3,306 lb at the link ends to 2,425 lb at 24 in. behind them
- The BL150 loader lifts 2,200 lb at the pivot point, which is well matched but no better than the 48 hp 4815 gets from the same loader
- TYM's dealer network is a fraction of Deere's or Kubota's, and that is what decides most of these purchases
