A highlighted cell wins its row on the rule named above the table: more power, lift, capacity or flow, or a lower price. A lift row is left unwon whenever the two makers measured in different places, or where either of them did not say — a figure quoted at the pivot pin and one quoted 500 mm ahead of it describe the same loader and differ by roughly a third, so ranking them against each other would invent a result. Prices are typical list and move with dealer packages.

From owner discussion and long-term write-ups

What owners of each one say

Massey Ferguson 4707

What they like

  • 4,850 lb three-point lift at 24 inches handles round balers, big rotary cutters, and 3-bale spears that would overwhelm most tractors under 75 HP
  • No DEF tank - the 3.3L AGCO Power engine meets Tier 4 with just a DOC, one less fluid and one less failure point than DEF-equipped rivals
  • The 12x12 power shuttle makes loader work genuinely pleasant - direction changes with a flick of the left-hand lever, no clutching
  • At 7,478+ lbs it's a legitimately heavy utility tractor that stays planted with the 931X loader lifting 3,420 lbs at the pins
  • 17.2 GPM hydraulic flow runs hay equipment and hydraulic-hungry implements without starving
  • Simple Global Series platform (built for worldwide markets) means fewer electronics to fail than a comparable premium Deere 5R
  • Owners consistently report it undercuts a comparably equipped John Deere 5075E/5090E package by a healthy margin

What they complain about

  • No hydrostatic option - if you want an HST at this horsepower, you're shopping Deere 4066R or Kubota instead
  • The 3-cylinder is coarse compared to the smooth 4-cylinder FPT in a Farmall 75C - it's a tractor engine, not a refined one
  • AGCO's dealer network has consolidated hard in some regions, so check parts support near you before buying
  • Open-station model has a basic flat platform and seat - comfort features are thin until you pay up for the cab
  • Resale is respectable but still trails the equivalent green tractor at auction
  • At nearly 7,500 lbs bare it's too much tractor for small properties - this is a real farm machine, not an estate tractor
  • The emissions system brings sensors and fault codes that a pre-Tier-4 tractor never had, and clearing them is a dealer job

Mahindra 6075

What they like

  • Electronic power shuttle is standard, not an option - direction changes on loader work happen on a lever with no clutch pedal
  • 5,952 lb of 3-point lift measured 24 in behind the hitch, which is more than most 70 hp compacts manage at the ball ends
  • Turbocharged, intercooled and common-rail out of 161.7 cu in, so it makes 71 hp at only 2,100 rpm
  • 23.8-gallon tank gives it genuine all-day range, roughly triple what the 1600 series carries
  • A heated and air-conditioned cab is catalogued on the same frame at 7,495 lb, so the enclosed version is a factory build
  • 15.7 GPM total with 11.1 GPM to the implement circuit feeds a loader and a rear remote at the same time

What they complain about

  • No published price - the 6000 series advertises $43,189, which is the 6065's, so this figure is read off dealer books
  • The 6065 is offered with a plain synchro shuttle for about $40,137; the 6075 is power-shuttle-only, so there is no cheap way into it
  • Loader lift of 3,609 lb is unremarkable for 71 hp and well under the 5,952 lb the rear hitch will pick up
  • Powertrain warranty is 5 years here against 7 on Mahindra's smaller series
  • Mahindra's own series page gives the 6065 as three-cylinder and the 6075 as four-cylinder at the same 161.7 cu in displacement - one of the two is a misprint and the maker has not corrected it
  • Mahindra does not publish where the 3,609 lb loader figure is measured
