A highlighted cell wins its row on the rule named above the table: more power, lift, capacity or flow, or a lower price. A lift row is left unwon whenever the two makers measured in different places, or where either of them did not say — a figure quoted at the pivot pin and one quoted 500 mm ahead of it describe the same loader and differ by roughly a third, so ranking them against each other would invent a result. Prices are typical list and move with dealer packages.
From owner discussion and long-term write-ups
What owners of each one say
TYM 2515
What they like
- The loader lifts 2,200 lbs to full height, roughly triple a Kubota BX and double most compacts in its price band
- At 2,965 lbs bare it's the heaviest tractor in the 25 HP class by a wide margin, giving big-tractor traction and stability
- The big low-revving 1.7L Kukje diesel makes its power through displacement, not RPM, staying under the 25 HP DPF threshold with no regen
- 11.5 GPM total hydraulic flow embarrasses everything else in the class, making loader and implement work quick
- It's priced like a sub-compact package while out-working compacts costing $10K more
- The Branson lineage means a decade of owner history backs the platform despite the new TYM badge
- Heavy cast construction throughout - owners describe it as built like tractors used to be
What they complain about
- It's genuinely slow - low travel speeds and modest PTO HP mean big mowing jobs take longer than with higher-revving rivals
- At nearly 3,000 lbs bare it needs a bigger trailer and truck than other 25 HP tractors
- The Branson-to-TYM rebrand created dealer network churn, and parts lookup across old and new naming confuses owners
- Resale value trails the Japanese brands, though the loader specs help it hold value better than most value brands
- The dealer network is thin in some regions, and warranty support quality varies by dealer
- No drive-over deck or refined mowing story - this is a loader and chore tractor first
TYM 4215
What they like
- 3,306 lb of hitch at the link ends is extraordinary for 41 hp - a Deere 3038E rates 1,989 lb and a Kubota L3302 about 1,918 lb
- 36 PTO hp from 41 gross is an 88 percent driveline figure, which is why this machine runs a 6-foot cutter without complaint
- 11.4 gpm of implement flow plus 5.2 gpm of steering, from a dual gear pump, so a loader cycle does not steal the wheel
- Naturally aspirated 2.3-litre four with no turbo and no particulate filter - fewer things to go wrong and no regeneration
- Choice of a 12F x 12R synchromesh shuttle or a 3-range hydrostatic at the same trim level
- The BL150 loader lifts 2,200 lb at the pivot pin, which is more than the tractor's own front axle weight
What they complain about
- No price is published by TYM or reproducible from two independent dealers - every figure found either bundles the loader or prices the dearest cab-and-hydrostatic trim
- The dealer network is a fraction of Deere's or Kubota's, and this is the argument that decides most of these purchases
- TYM does not state a warranty on this model's page or in its brochure, so the terms have to be confirmed at the dealer
- No cab in the brochure's own spec table - the cab weight row is a literal dash, so the 4215C's figures are not published
- The dry single-plate clutch on the synchromesh build will not enjoy relentless loader shuttling the way a wet power shuttle would
- Rear remotes are not standard: the brochure lists two loader valves and zero rear valves in the base build
