A highlighted cell wins its row on the rule named above the table: more power, lift, capacity or flow, or a lower price. A lift row is left unwon whenever the two makers measured in different places, or where either of them did not say — a figure quoted at the pivot pin and one quoted 500 mm ahead of it describe the same loader and differ by roughly a third, so ranking them against each other would invent a result. Prices are typical list and move with dealer packages.

From owner discussion and long-term write-ups

What owners of each one say

Kioti CK2640

What they like

  • 1,631 lb at the 3-point is compact-class capacity from a 24.5 hp machine, 400 lb more than the sub-compact CX2510 manages
  • The KL4040 loader lifts 1,657 lb at the pivot pin and reaches 98.5 in, which is genuine trailer- and truck-loading height
  • 9.0 gal of fuel, up half again on the CS and CX models, so a morning of loader work does not need a jerry can
  • Under 25 hp means Tier 4 Final without a diesel particulate filter, rare in a 2,690 lb compact
  • 72-month powertrain coverage with no hour cap and 24 months bumper-to-bumper with no deductible
  • Gear, hydrostatic, SE and cab trims all share this chassis

What they complain about

  • 24.5 hp moving 2,690 lb plus a loader is the thinnest power-to-weight ratio in the CK line
  • 10.5 gpm is the lowest pump flow of any CK, and the CK3520 above it jumps to 11.7
  • Kioti lists loaders by tier rather than by model, so which loader a dealer actually pairs here is worth confirming in writing
  • The 1,631 lb hitch figure comes with no measuring point, so it is not directly comparable to a maker quoting lift at the ball ends
  • It sits about $900 above the CK2620 at identical horsepower, and Kioti does not spell out on one page what that money buys

Kioti CS2530

What they like

  • 24.5 hp and 19.3 PTO hp tops the CS range while still sitting under the 25 hp threshold that brings aftertreatment with it
  • The cab version exists at this hp point alone in the CS series, so a heated sub-compact does not mean changing series
  • Shares the heavier 1,735 lb CS chassis, which matters more than horsepower once a bucket is loaded
  • 7.0 gpm pump and two-range hydrostatic, carried over unchanged from the models below
  • 72-month unlimited-hour powertrain warranty and 24 months bumper-to-bumper with no deductible
  • About $1,800 over the CS2230 buys 3.5 engine hp and 2.6 PTO hp with nothing else on the machine changed

What they complain about

  • 871 lb at the pivot pin is modest for 24.5 hp - Kioti's own CX2510, at the same horsepower, lifts 1,092 lb
  • The cab adds $8,592 over the open-station price, more than half the cost of an entire CS2210
  • 700 lb of 3-point lift is the same as the 21 hp CS models, with no measuring point published
