On the price: This maker publishes no price, so the figure comes from dealer listings. Regional dealers price the same machine differently.

Lift figures are the maker's and are quoted at whichever point the maker chose; the about page explains why two loaders with the same number do not lift the same pallet.

From owner discussion and long-term write-ups

What owners say

What they like

  • The 1.9-litre LS L32L19 is turbocharged and common-rail at every hp point in the series, so the small end is not a detuned naturally aspirated engine
  • 34 PTO hp on the shuttle is enough for a 6 ft rotary cutter without the engine falling on its face
  • The cheapest Boomer you can order with a factory cab, air conditioning and a heater rather than retrofitting one
  • Boomer Guard-6 runs 24 months or 750 hours bumper-to-bumper before the powertrain cover carries on to 72 months or 1,500 hours
  • Costs only about $2,562 more than the Boomer 35 while adding 4.3 PTO hp on identical iron
  • Dual gear pumps keep 8.2 GPM at the implement circuit while steering draws from its own supply

What they complain about

  • Still on the small 1,808 lb hitch despite 40 hp, so the engine outruns what the 3-point can pick up
  • The cab version jumps to $43,128 and 3,574 lb - about a 23% premium over the ROPS machine
  • Cab models carry only 12.4 gal of fuel against 10.5 on the ROPS, so the enclosed tractor gains very little range
  • Cruise control is tied to the hydrostatic option, not standard on the shuttle

The one Boomer still built on the smaller 12x12 frame: 1,808 lb at the ball ends against 2,756 lb from the 45 up. The $32,551 list is the ROPS synchro-shuttle; hydrostatic adds $2,405 and there is no cab at this hp point.

The original Workmaster compact range ends here, still listed at $29,239 in the MY2026 book but overtaken by the Workmaster 40C that New Holland showed in February 2026. Same 1.9-litre LS engine as a Boomer 40 in a plainer, cheaper wrapper.

The step in the Boomer range where the frame actually changes: 16x16 shuttle instead of 12x12, 2,756 lb at the ball ends instead of 1,808, the bigger 260TLA loader and 620 lb more tractor. That is what the roughly $6,700 over a Boomer 40 buys.
