48 hp engine · 40 PTO−17% to the shaft

Same 2.3-litre four and same chassis as the 4215, tuned to 48 hp and 40 at the PTO without a turbo. Everything behind the engine is identical, which makes the pair the clearest illustration in this catalog of what an extra seven horsepower actually buys: nothing but horsepower.

On the price: Neither this maker nor any dealer reachable from here publishes a bare-tractor price for this model — every listing found either says “call for price” or bundles a loader. That is how this brand sells, so expect to get a number by asking a dealer rather than by looking it up.

Lift figures are the maker's and are quoted at whichever point the maker chose; the about page explains why two loaders with the same number do not lift the same pallet.

From owner discussion and long-term write-ups

What owners say

What they like

  • 48 hp with no turbocharger and no diesel particulate filter is unusual at this size and removes two common failure points
  • 40 PTO hp handles a 6 to 7 foot rotary cutter or a mid-size tiller comfortably
  • The 3,306 lb Cat I hitch is the same as the 4215's and well beyond the class norm
  • Identical driveline and frame to the 4215 and 3515, so a dealer stocks one parts set for three models
  • 12F x 12R synchromesh or a 3-range hydrostatic, both offered with the cab as the 4815C

What they complain about

  • Price is unpublished: TYM lists none, and the only bare figures any dealer network carries are for the cab-and-hydrostatic 4815CH, a different machine from the ROPS build these specs describe
  • Fuel capacity is only 7.1 gallons behind 48 hp, so field work means stopping to refuel
  • At 3,278 lb with ROPS it is light for its power, which limits what the rear hitch can actually pick up without ballast
  • No warranty is stated on the model page or in the brochure
  • The dry single-plate clutch is a weak point for heavy loader duty compared with a wet power shuttle

Yanmar's 3TNV80F under a TYM badge is the whole argument here: a known engine in a machine priced below the brands that usually carry it. A factory cab option at sub-compact size is rare, and package deals are where TYM dealers compete.

A 1.7-litre Kukje engine and a 2,965 lb frame make this far heavier than 24.6 hp suggests, and that mass is what the 2,200 lb loader rating rests on. TYM's current Series 2 lineup no longer includes it, so only the series page remains.

Carried over from the Branson line under the TYM badge, and still one of the hardest-hitting 41 hp compacts on paper: a 3,306 lb Cat I hitch and 11.4 gpm to the implement circuit, both well above what a Deere 3038E or Kubota L3302 offers. TYM will not publish what it costs.
