Compact
55 hp engine · 44 PTO−20% to the shaft

The turbocharged top of the series 4 gear range: 55 hp and 44 at the PTO from the same 2.3-litre four that runs naturally aspirated at 48, in a 3,836 lb frame with 16 speeds and a 540/750 PTO. It is the closest TYM gets to a utility tractor without leaving the compact chassis.

On the price: Neither this maker nor any dealer reachable from here publishes a bare-tractor price for this model — every listing found either says “call for price” or bundles a loader. That is how this brand sells, so expect to get a number by asking a dealer rather than by looking it up.

Lift figures are the maker's and are quoted at whichever point the maker chose; the about page explains why two loaders with the same number do not lift the same pallet.

What owners say

What they like

  • Turbocharging the 2,286 cc four to 55 hp keeps the machine narrow and light while giving it genuine 44 PTO hp
  • 16 forward and 16 reverse synchromesh speeds, or a 4-range hydrostatic, with a 540/750 two-speed independent PTO either way
  • 11.4 gpm to the implement circuit and 16.5 gpm total, so the BL200 loader's 2,701 lb capacity is usable rather than nominal
  • A heated 5520C cab is catalogued on this chassis
  • 15.5 in of ground clearance on a 71.1 in wheelbase gives it good field manners for a compact

What they complain about

  • No published price at all: TYM states none and no two independent dealers quote a bare tractor
  • The 3,306 lb Cat I hitch is the same as the 35 hp 3620's, so the extra 20 horsepower adds nothing at the back
  • 11.8 gallons of fuel behind a turbocharged 55 hp engine is a short day
  • TYM does not state the warranty for this model anywhere in its own material
  • A turbo adds a maintenance item the naturally aspirated 4815 beside it does not have

Yanmar's 3TNV80F under a TYM badge is the whole argument here: a known engine in a machine priced below the brands that usually carry it. A factory cab option at sub-compact size is rare, and package deals are where TYM dealers compete.

A 1.7-litre Kukje engine and a 2,965 lb frame make this far heavier than 24.6 hp suggests, and that mass is what the 2,200 lb loader rating rests on. TYM's current Series 2 lineup no longer includes it, so only the series page remains.

Carried over from the Branson line under the TYM badge, and still one of the hardest-hitting 41 hp compacts on paper: a 3,306 lb Cat I hitch and 11.4 gpm to the implement circuit, both well above what a Deere 3038E or Kubota L3302 offers. TYM will not publish what it costs.
