Turbocharged 50.3 hp on Kioti's 4,027 lb NS frame, three-range hydrostatic, with a 2,940 lb hitch and a 2,621 lb loader at the pin. It sits one step above the NS4710 already in this catalog and gets its power from a turbo rather than more displacement.

On the price: The maker's own published starting figure for the base build. A dealer adds a loader, a deck and freight on top.

Lift figures are the maker's and are quoted at whichever point the maker chose; the about page explains why two loaders with the same number do not lift the same pallet.

From owner discussion and long-term write-ups

What owners say

What they like

  • Turbocharging 1,826 cc to 50.3 hp gets utility-class power out of a compact-sized engine, which keeps the tractor light for its output
  • 4,027 lb of bare weight is over 600 lb more than any DK, and that mass is what lets the loader work at its rating
  • 2,940 lb at the 3-point beats the whole DK line by 224 lb
  • The KL5810 loader lifts 2,621 lb at the pivot pin to 106.3 in
  • Three-range hydrostatic plus 16.5 gpm makes this the loader-focused choice at 50 hp
  • 13.2 gal tank, and a 72-month powertrain warranty with no hour cap

What they complain about

  • 36.6 PTO hp from 50.3 gross is a 27 percent loss, while Kioti's shuttle-drive DK5020 makes 41.5 at the PTO from the same 50.3 gross hp for $4,334 less
  • Kioti's premium NX4510 costs $31,537 - $5,668 less than this - with a bigger loader and a bigger hitch, which makes the value tier the expensive one at this trim
  • Cab pricing is published for the NS6010 but not at this hp point, so a heated NS5310 needs a dealer quote
  • The aftertreatment is not named on the page, so whether a regeneration cycle is part of ownership comes from the dealer

Gathered from owner reports

What owners report

The NS5310 comes up almost entirely as a price argument, and owners make it with numbers rather than adjectives: repeated reports of roughly $32,000 out the door with a loader, which buyers put well under a comparably equipped Kubota once remotes, a third valve and tire choices are added in. A notable share of the owners talking about it moved up from an older Kioti CK30 and stayed with the brand deliberately.

What comes up favourably

  • The price gap is the consistent story and owners quote it concretely - around $32,000 out the door with loader, which buyers put roughly $12,000 under a comparable Kubota MX5200 or MX5400 by the time remotes, a third valve and non-ag tires are added to the orange quote.
  • Several owners traded up from an older Kioti CK30 and chose the brand again, reporting the NS5310 has handled round bales, brush hogging, grapple work and general PTO chores without drama.
  • Buyers comparing quotes find it arrives carrying equipment that costs extra elsewhere - rear remotes already fitted, more lift capacity, a cheaper third valve and a choice of non-ag tires were all cited as included or less costly than on the rival machine.
  • Owners cite the long powertrain coverage as the reassurance that made a challenger brand acceptable, and one who is disciplined about the 50-hour full fluid and filter service reports 120 hours with no problems and says he would buy again.

What comes up as a complaint

  • Fittings working loose is the one mechanical theme more than one owner raises. One reports the hydraulic pump connection letting go and spraying fluid three separate times under normal use and is still looking for a better part to fix it for good; another lists tightening hoses and chasing loose bolts as the only attention his has needed.
  • The honest competition is not a new Kubota but a used one. The same buyers pricing a new NS5310 around $32,000 also had low-hour used L4701 and L4060 machines in front of them at $25,000 to $29,000 with remotes already fitted, several thousand less than the new Kioti.

Questions worth asking

What does an NS5310 actually cost out the door?
Owners reporting recent purchases cluster tightly around $32,000 out the door with a loader, and quotes of $35,000 come up for more heavily specified builds. For comparison, buyers getting both quotes at once report a Kubota L4802 at $38,000 and say a similarly equipped MX5200 or MX5400 would have run past $50,000 once they added the remotes, third valve and tires the Kioti already had.
Should I get the cab version?
One owner who works in the woods deliberately did not, reasoning that low-hanging limbs would make a cab a liability rather than a comfort. That is worth weighing against the obvious case for one: if the work is mowing open ground and moving material in bad weather, the calculus flips. Note that cab pricing at this horsepower is not always published, so it takes a dealer quote.
Kioti or TYM if both dealers are the same distance away?
One buyer in the Pacific Northwest faced exactly that and chose the Kioti, and his reasoning was entirely about service rather than the machines. The Kioti dealer's shop had five full-time technicians and looked well organized; the TYM dealer's was a single bay with one technician. He had also seen repeated reports of TYM owners waiting months on parts. As a footnote, the Kioti dealer beat the rival's implement pricing the day after he bought.

Summarised from public owner discussion, not from testing. Nothing here was measured by this site, and a report that recurs is not the same as a defect rate.
