MSRP, base build

KiotiNX6010

57.7 hp engine · 48.3 PTO−16% to the shaft

The biggest NX and the only one Kioti builds as hydrostatic only: 57.7 hp, 48.3 at the PTO, and 17.9 gpm rather than the 16.5 the rest of the series gets. At $40,839 it is the most expensive Kioti under 60 hp, and the cab takes it to $49,480.

On the price: The maker's own published starting figure for the base build. A dealer adds a loader, a deck and freight on top.

Lift figures are the maker's and are quoted at whichever point the maker chose; the about page explains why two loaders with the same number do not lift the same pallet.

From owner discussion and long-term write-ups

What owners say

What they like

  • 48.3 PTO hp from a hydrostatic drive is unusually little loss for the type, and matches what Kioti claims for the shuttle-drive NS6010
  • 17.9 gpm is the highest flow of any Kioti under 60 hp, 1.4 gpm above the rest of the NX line
  • Three-range hydrostatic on a 4,198 lb frame is the combination for repeated loader cycles, where a shuttle costs a clutch pedal every time
  • 3,177 lb hitch and 2,761 lb loader at the pivot pin, the largest figures in Kioti's sub-60 hp range
  • 72 months of powertrain coverage with no hour limit and 24 months bumper-to-bumper with no deductible
  • 14.8 gal of fuel, matched to a machine expected to work all day

What they complain about

  • $40,839 is more than Kioti's 66 hp RX6620P, which has a 3,594 lb hitch and a 3,384 lb loader - the NX tops out above the price of the series that replaces it
  • Hydrostatic only, so there is no shuttle version at this hp point for field work
  • 4,198 lb is 11 lb lighter than the 55 hp NX5510, so the top model brings no extra ballast
  • The cab adds $8,641 with no mid-priced canopy option published
  • Neither the aftertreatment nor cruise control is published, and both matter on a machine bought for long hydrostatic sessions

Gathered from owner reports

What owners report

Every owner account available on the NX6010 describes a fault, and they cluster tightly around electronics - a three-point that stopped lowering, a transmission dropping into calibration mode mid-work, a machine at 175 hours that would not turn over. What makes those reports worth reading is less the faults themselves than what fixing them involves: these are problems that need the dealer's proprietary diagnostics, and owners report the journey to that dealer being the expensive part.

What comes up favourably

  • Owners are warm about the machine in between the faults - the one waiting on warranty work for a no-start at 175 hours still calls it a great tractor in every other regard, and another describes Kioti as a great tractor while criticising the dealers.

What comes up as a complaint

  • The fault reports are electronic and they interrupt work. One owner's three-point stopped lowering after about four hours of use; another's hydrostatic drops into calibration mode intermittently and stops the tractor dead for a couple of seconds when it does; a third found his would not even attempt to turn over at 175 hours, most likely a fault in the electronics around a safety switch.
  • Getting to the dealer is a cost warranty does not cover, and two owners raise it. One reports $255 each way to haul his in, paid by him rather than the warranty, and a former owner says most of the Kioti dealers he has dealt with are reluctant about warranty work and expect you to deliver the tractor or pay by the loaded mile.
  • Diagnosis is locked to the dealer network. An owner whose nearest Kioti dealer stopped carrying the brand and stopped servicing them found the next one unreasonably far away and no local shop able to read codes on his machine, leaving him hunting for a way around the manufacturer's proprietary software.

Questions worth asking

What goes wrong with the NX6010?
The reported faults are electronic rather than mechanical. Owners describe a three-point hitch that stopped lowering after a few hours of work, a hydrostatic transmission dropping into calibration mode intermittently and stopping the tractor dead for a second or two, and a no-start at 175 hours where the machine would not attempt to turn over at all, traced most likely to the electronics around a safety switch. These are individual reports rather than a documented pattern, but they share a character worth knowing about.
What does a warranty repair actually cost me?
Possibly more than buyers expect, because transport is generally not covered. One owner reports $255 each way to get his machine to the dealer, out of his own pocket, on a repair that was itself under warranty. Another former owner's experience is that dealers often expect the customer to deliver the tractor or will charge per loaded mile to collect it. Before buying, ask your dealer directly who pays for hauling on a warranty job - it materially changes the value of the warranty.
Can I diagnose it myself or at a local shop?
Not easily. Fault codes on this machine need the manufacturer's proprietary software, and one owner whose local dealer dropped the brand found that no shop near him could read codes at all, with the nearest remaining dealer too far to be practical. If you are outside a good dealer's catchment, that is a more serious consideration on an electronically controlled tractor than on a simpler one, because the things owners report going wrong are exactly the things that need a code reader.

Summarised from public owner discussion, not from testing. Nothing here was measured by this site, and a report that recurs is not the same as a defect rate.

Turbocharging carries the NS range to its limit here: 57.7 hp, 48.3 at the PTO, Cat 2 hitch with draft control. The synchro shuttle is the $40,403 base; hydrostatic runs $43,190 and the cab $48,543, and the PTO figure is the reason to take the shuttle.
