24 hp engine · 18 PTO−25% to the shaft

Same engine, hitch and pumps as the 2400 on a wheelbase stretched 6.6 in. and a 3-range hydrostat geared for 17 mph - the fastest sub-compact TYM builds. It is the long-legged version of the same machine rather than a more capable one.

On the price: Neither this maker nor any dealer reachable from here publishes a bare-tractor price for this model — every listing found either says “call for price” or bundles a loader. That is how this brand sells, so expect to get a number by asking a dealer rather than by looking it up.

Lift figures are the maker's and are quoted at whichever point the maker chose; the about page explains why two loaders with the same number do not lift the same pallet.

From owner discussion and long-term write-ups

What owners say

What they like

  • 17 mph is the highest road speed of any TYM sub-compact and turns a long farm track into a short trip
  • 65.7 in. of wheelbase, 6.6 in. more than the 2400, which makes a loaded loader bucket noticeably steadier
  • 3-range hydrostat rather than the 2-range fitted to most sub-compacts, so there is a usable ratio for slow tiller work
  • Cruise control standard with the HST
  • 540/1000 rear PTO speeds, unusual at this size
  • 72-month, 3,000-hour powertrain cover for non-commercial use

What they complain about

  • TYM publishes no price - every model page ends at Request a Quote, and no two independent dealers quote a bare tractor, so the figure here would have to be invented
  • 18 PTO hp out of 24 gross - the hydrostat costs 3 hp against the geared 2400, on the same engine
  • 2,106 lb makes this the heaviest TYM sub-compact, on the same 1,499 lb hitch the 1,792 lb 2400 carries
  • 6.0 gal of fuel on a machine built to travel is a short range
  • Remote valves are optional, not standard
  • The BL110S lifts 1,374 lb at the pivot point, only 60 lb more than the 2400's smaller loader

Smallest tractor TYM sells in North America and the only one under a litre: a 993 cc Yanmar three spinning to 3,200 rpm in a 1,472 lb frame. It undercuts a Kubota BX on weight by 200 lb, which is the point of it and also its limit.

TYM's own T1100N2 engine instead of a Yanmar, tuned to make its 24 hp at only 2,800 rpm, in a frame 400 lb heavier than the T224. The extra mass is what buys the 1,534 lb hitch, the biggest in TYM's sub-compact range.

The one sub-compact in TYM's range with a geared base build - a 6-speed constant-mesh box with only two reverse ratios - and that gearbox is why it makes 21 PTO hp where the hydrostatic 2400H makes 18. Three horsepower is a lot at 24 gross.
