Compact
48.3 hp engine · 37.2 PTO−23% to the shaft

Telescopic lower links and stabilizers as standard, behind the biggest Category I hitch TYM builds at 3,822 lb. The gearbox is the compromise: eight forward speeds where the T454 beside it has sixteen.

On the price: Neither this maker nor any dealer reachable from here publishes a bare-tractor price for this model — every listing found either says “call for price” or bundles a loader. That is how this brand sells, so expect to get a number by asking a dealer rather than by looking it up.

Lift figures are the maker's and are quoted at whichever point the maker chose; the about page explains why two loaders with the same number do not lift the same pallet.

What owners say

What they like

  • Telescopic lower links and stabilizers are standard, which makes pinning up a mounted implement a one-person job
  • 3,822 lb of hitch lift at the link ends, the highest Category I figure in the TYM range
  • 3,050 lb of that remains 24 in. behind the link ends, a 20 percent fall-off rather than the usual third
  • 17.0 gal of fuel and two standard rear remote valves
  • Cruise control standard and 18.6 mph on the road
  • The TX57 loader lifts 2,791 lb at the pivot point

What they complain about

  • TYM publishes no price - every model page ends at Request a Quote, and no two independent dealers quote a bare tractor, so the figure here would have to be invented
  • F8 x R8 synchro shuttle - half the ratios the Yanmar-engined T454 offers, and it shows when you want one more gear on a slope
  • 7.7 gpm of implement flow on a 3,871 lb tractor, the same pump fitted to the 30 hp 3015
  • 37.2 PTO hp from 48.3 gross, a 77 percent driveline figure
  • Category I hitch despite the 3,822 lb rating, so the lift is ahead of the linkage class
  • No hydrostatic build offered

Yanmar's 3TNV80F under a TYM badge is the whole argument here: a known engine in a machine priced below the brands that usually carry it. A factory cab option at sub-compact size is rare, and package deals are where TYM dealers compete.

A 1.7-litre Kukje engine and a 2,965 lb frame make this far heavier than 24.6 hp suggests, and that mass is what the 2,200 lb loader rating rests on. TYM's current Series 2 lineup no longer includes it, so only the series page remains.

Carried over from the Branson line under the TYM badge, and still one of the hardest-hitting 41 hp compacts on paper: a 3,306 lb Cat I hitch and 11.4 gpm to the implement circuit, both well above what a Deere 3038E or Kubota L3302 offers. TYM will not publish what it costs.
